i arrived home early that Monday.
ealier than Hub and Bambam.
feeling so tired from fasting that day,
i opened the door and entered the house.
Ayra's diaper bag was on the floor.
the content: diapers, baby wipes, powder were scattered on the carpet.
"i thought i have kept it tidy yesterday? when did she make a mess?
i think she was playing at the door before we left this morning. oh well.."
i went to the kitchen to do what i do everyday when i get home:
clean my breastpump parts and store the breastmilk into freezer.
(im a proud bf mother!)
a sound of a car pulling in the driveway could be heard.
Hub and Ayra are home!
then came in a little girl, walking towards her Mommy.
and we hugged and kissed..
well, me hugging and kissing her.
then i headed on to the upper part of our house.
needed to pray Asar.
i opened the master bedroom's door.
and there it was.
all clothes lying on the floor.
scattered.
the chest drawers were pulled out with clothes hanging,
the wardrobe was searched in a messy way.
my handbags were on the floor.
searched.
and i said:
"Abang!!! i think we have been robbed!"
i started shaking.
scared.
scared that the person might still be in the house.
scared that all the valuable things were stolen.
scared that i know it will never feel safe again.
we searched for the point of entry as the doors were untouched.
Hub found this:
the glass window was broken.
the grill was cut off.
the opening was very small.
made us wonder the size of that person.
a child?? or midget?
we went to the police station and made a report.
few valuables were taken:
Ayra's cash, which was given as duit raya, which amounted to thousands
Hub's lappy which has all the sweet memories of Ayra since she was born
my gold bracelets which were given by Hub and MIL
my gold necklace
FIL camera and my camera which was given as hantaran
my watch which Hub bought as my bday prezent last 2 years.
alhamdulillah my rings were gone unnoticed ny the burglar.
and my Pound Sterling was safely stacked somewhere.
and our passports were okay
i am sad. we are all sad.
im sad for the lost memories.
for Ayra's money.
we have been planning to deposit it into Tabung Haji
but we did not have the time to go there.
you know la Tabung Haji.
how crowded it can be all the time!
how crowded it can be all the time!
if only we can do it online like any updated banking services!
haiyahh
for now we have made the effort to amalkan bacaan Yaseen,
following the DarusSyifa' way.
i pray that Allah returns us the stolen things.
so,
to resolve the safety issue of our broken window,
we decided to do this:
and a friend asked:
if the burglar entered through the door?
hahahhaha
