dull, tired, lifeless..

My skin is dull and i look tired all time. yes, i do feel tired almost all the time, now that i am a Mommy. so, i decided to pamper my skin again, like old times:--->before i got pregnant. i used adhere religiously to skin regimen. the double cleanse, the toner, scrub and mask and what not. however, pregnancy brought out the lazy part of me in taking care of my skin. i was lucky enough not to experience massive pizza break outs when i was pregnant. my face cleared out. i didnt have acne despite not putting anything except sunblock and facial cleanser. the hormones. they work wonders. :D

like i said..look dull.and tired. what to do??

so, managed to convince hubby to go to Sephora KLCC about a month ago.

i knew i wanted something organic whitening products and eye creams that could wipe out that dark circle...and few other items. the salesperson recommended me the Skin Nutrition Complexion Revitalizing Complex.

 the claimed benefit:

"Skin Nutrition Complexion Revitalizing Serum has a unique blend of highly active plant extracts, L-Arginine and Skin Nutrition's proprietary super-berry extracts, combined with super-hybrid lipid soluble vitamin C and vitamin E. This highly concentrated serum is designed as a ‘rescue’ treatment to give dull, tired, dry, lifeless or stressed skin an immediate lift and boost of complexion radiance."

it is purely 100% organic. and the price is very pricey.

okay, my review after  using:

- after about a week of using, i still did not see any improvement. i couldnt wait to see the result actually! i wanted it to be magic like that. which is ridiculous. there's no serum/ cream that could brighten your face in a week! unless it contains hydroquinone la. which is dangerous for your skin of course.
- after much anticipation in seeing the result, i came to forget the time and continue using as usual.
until..one day, i woke up.went to work and when i was in the ladies..looking at the mirror, i noticed.. why do i look.. bright? like i was kindof glowing. then i remembered. ah-ha! could it be that very expensive organic serum that i bought?? baru nak complain mahal tapi tipu. haha.
-so yeah,.. it could be that it is actually working.. a month to look a little bit glow-ier is reasonable. like i said, there's no magic. it contains 100% organic plants so yes, it will take time. if u use chemical, then it would be  faster, but usually it is not as safe.

will i recommend this to others?hm... well.. only if u can afford such an expensive serum. and u are not rushing in looking 'normal' or 'not dull, not tired not lifeless' skin.  perhaps there are others products that can give u better result without poking a hole in your purse. btw, this costs aroung RM250-300. per tube.

for now im going to continue using it. until it finishes. definitely! (cos i paid already lorr)

other beauty items that i bought while i was in sephora: sephora mineral compact powder, sephora eyeliner, and hyelin serious dark circles.  in short, i can say: 2/5 for all. reviews on those will be later.

  1. The salesgirl there said there is an ingredient in the sephora mineral compact powder that can block your pores.so i didnt buy it.The LM i had, will discontinue it since the effect of using it is just like when im using baby powder.my scar can't be cover at all.unless if i applied bb cream before the powder.
