Uni Times!

i miss university times.

do you??

i miss the ample time that i had, the holidays that i enjoyed,
the benefits of being a student.
(a.k.a discounts here and there, no strict punch card)

what i miss most was the environment and friends.

i went to IIUM in Kuantan, studied in Degree Pharmacy.
why i studied pharmacy?
that will another long blogging day.
me with my Gramma and Sarah, my sister

IIUM Kuantan was very much different from IIUM Gombak.
i dont really know the environment in Gombak, only heard from
people about the 'luar nampak baik, dalam senyap2 je tau'.

what i know is, IIUM kuantan is trully an experience of
faith, wisdom and maturity.
i can say i've met almost all kinds of people in life
at a very young age.
growing up in KL, i was given the chance to get to know
people from various lifestyles.
when i entered IIUM Kuantan, i was in shocked.
first, i had a shocked of being away from my family.
i have never been apart from them. at all.
so, when i had to stay about 300km away,
suffice to say, i was depressed.
i mean, we had eveything in KL. malls are like my best friend.
but in kuantan, man. i was dumbfounded.
literally bored out of my wits.
but the good thing is, i gained good friends,
and learned to find 'myself' back again.

my roomates were great people.
Shaabana is one of those who doesnt stop inviting me to goodness.
she opened my eyes to Islam, in a way i have never seen.
i thank Allah for letting her be apart of my life.
to change, not only we need good friends,
we need good environment too.
so, IIUM Kuantan provided me with that.
okay, i have sooo many things to write about.
if only this computer can transfer the words out of my head into typed words. hahaha.

IIUM kuantan provided me with a serene, peaceful environment which
was full of positivity. everything is related to Islam as Islam is, indeed
a way of life.

we could hear beutiful azan being played inviting us for
prayers. and the prayers were conducted with the beautiful readings by the
imams, which were one of the students as well.
i met a lot of al-hafiz when i was there.
i thought back then, wow. you could be a tahfiz, and still have a degree.
how brilliant is that? and the best part was,
they excel in both.
salute to them.
religious classes were consistently conducted to all students.
always an interesting religious issues to talk about.
life, school, aqidah, family, etc.

when i was there, to occupy my time,
i joined clubs and activities held by the uni.

i did a lot of charity along with my batch mates.
we love to organize activities.
jalan-jalan every semester.
always to another state and a fellow's  house.
get to know friend's family.

it was such a fun and carefree times.

there were 50 of us. 10 boys and the rest is girls.
we were close.

and the boys.
there were nice guys, with good attitudes.
sure, they got on my nerves sometimes (ha-ha), but
they are a good person.

i actually thought good guys are hard to find nowadays.
but when i got to know them back then,
i guess, the world still has hopes!
hahaha

but nothing can go more than just friends.
 u know, friend zone.

that's why i married Hub. the good guys and my knight.
*blush*

us playing bowling.the finale bowling session before we departed.

us at Takubangperahu. we went to Jakarta after our final sem.
it was so much fun
i was suprised that Dad actually allowed me to join!

us during our Graduation Dinner.

alhamdulillah, we are now working as a Pharmacist (like it or not, at least we have a job.haha)
may Allah always guide us to be a better Muslim.
