My Clarins

i asked my besties:
any difference in my skin??

they said:
your skin color is more even.
the marks are fading away.
clearer and cleaner looking.

having said that, i can say, yes! it actually works!

i was looking for something that can even out my skin color.
something that can definitely rids off the acne marks, dark spots.
something that can work on all that but doesn't cause break outs.
and to control the oil too.

ever since i got pregnant until today, my skin was actually improving.
it confirms the hormonal issue that i was having with the skin.
hence, Acne.
getting pregnant actually resolved my skin problem.
haha

and i thank God that it stays that way,
only occasional zit. which i dont complain, of course.
(sangat bersyukur ni tau)

now back to the search.
i read reviews after reviews on what product to use to get all the above effects.
finally, i settled for:

it contains plant extract but it is not organic.
organic macam slow je pulak nk tunjuk effect.
i cannot tahan lama2 meh..

i have been using it for a month plus now.

at first i tried the starter kit.
well, it wasn't actually a starter kit.
it was more like a travelling set.
a box of stuff that contains small items, probably suits as a gift.

it came with the toner, serum, cleanser, night cream.
(promoter ada bagi small2 samples lain)
those are the essential ones i supposed.
and the most wajib is the Sunscreen.
i still have the Clarins Hydraquench Gel Cream which i LOVE.
so that is still my moisturizer.
it works wonder. hehe

This creamy gel promotes an immediate “cooling” effect that turns into water on contact with the skin. Its specific formula tightens pores and assures a long-lasting matte appearance. Non-oily, it leaves an invisible, silky film on the skin's surface.
Hyaluronic acid: helps restore the skin's moisture.
Katafray extract: helps reinforce the skin's surface barrier effect and helps prevent dehydration.
Sorbier bud extract: reinforces skin hydration and radiance.
Pomegranate extract: tightens pores.
Alpine willow herb extract: helps reduce skin shine.
Clarins exclusive Anti-Pollution complex: preserves the skin from the harmful effects of the environment.

it hydrates my skin without making it oily.
even though on surface it is oily, but underneath, it is dry.
by using this it keeps my skin hydrated.
i like the coolness and supple looking skin that it gives.
i will buy this again it it runs out.
Clarins:
Jua from Brazil: cleansing action, eliminates impurities while respecting the hydrolipidic film.
Alchemilla: brightening action.
Flavonoids from parsley: stimulate blood and lymphatic drainage, enhance complexion radiance.
Tannins from alchemilla: purify and tighten pores.

now,
the cleanser has a strong perfume smell.
but i dont mind that.
as long as it sejiwa with my skin.

the toner pun sama.
not so much comment on it either.
i guess, kalau u put on others pun ok.
this toner doesnt dry out your skin though.

Sea Lily: limits the extension of dendrites.
Alchemilla: limits the transfer of melanin towards the epidermis.
Raspberry, highly stable vitamin C, biotin: brighten and prevent dark spots.
Flavonoids from parsley and raspberry: reinforce skin radiance.
Tannins from alchemilla: reduce sebum secretion, tighten pores.
Oat sugars: gently tighten the skin, reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

the serum was light. only like a small drop can go along way.
it can cover big area of the skin.
it really works. i guess.

Sea lily extract: slows the spread of melanin which causes dark spots. Daisy extract: soothes skin to reduce hyperpigmentation linked to daytimes stress factors. Extracts of alchemilla and raspberry, derivatives of vitamin C and vitamin B8: block the causes of hyperpigmentation.

the night cream was a bit strong wangi,
albeit, it was ok for me as well.
night cream is essential as it helps in reducing melanin production whilst sleeping.

100% mineral screen: helps protect against sun-induced signs of ageing and helps prevent dark spots.
Canteloup extract from Provence: protects the skin from oxidative stress.
Clarins exclusive Anti-Pollution complex: preserves the skin from the harmful effects of the environment.
The high performance day screen developed for city dwellers in order to maintain beautiful-looking skin.
Triple protection: anti-UV, anti-pollution and antioxidant in a silky-smooth, fine and lightweight texture. Apply after your moisturizer and before make-up. Slightly tinted, it is ideal for everyday and will leave your skin smooth and matte while boosting a very natural-looking radiance.

the sunscreen is a must for me.
i really2 like the texture.
light, smooth.
im in love with it.
it's like i finally found the perfect sunscreen.
it is not oily at all.
if my face becomes oily, i can tell u it doesnt come from the sunscreen.
that's my oil gland working hard like a factory.

however lads, these are causing a hole in my new purse.
yup, it does.

let say, if they run out..
i would be broke again.
but.. i will buy certain items.
i choose the serum, night cream and of course, the sunscreen.
oh, yes, the hydraquench too!

so, Azza.. there u go.
hehehe
